There are many reasons why I am interested in art.
It has always been a way to express myself whenever
I was happy, sad or creative. Even when I think about
my future I cannot imagine myself doing something that
did not involve art.
When it comes to creating my work (any type of art),
I always start by doing studies. This includes finding
books and pictures that help me get inspired. Next,
I always do sketches. Lots of sketches help me perfect
my final idea. I am open to different mediums; I use
pencils the most but branch out into using markers and
paint. It all depends on what inspires me, which is
normally just what I am feeling at the time. For example,
my Paley Park design above focuses on my main inspiration
of an outdoor art studio. Once I focused on that idea
I used pen, pencil, markers and board to express my
ideas.
My art has changed a lot since I was very young. Even
though I have always been interested in art, I feel
like Iʼm always improving. Since I am so passionate
about it, I am always eager to read more books and spend
more time practicing. Every time I think of something
new, I am excited to try and master that skill, if it's
trying a new medium or taking on a new project I love
every second of it. |
