This collage was of my neighborhood. The theme of the group I was in was similarities between neighborhoods, but I thought I would ask people how things like parks and apartment complexes in our community differed from others around us.

I took pictures of my apartment building and of a friendʼs across the street to show how different they are even though they are so near. I took pictures of parks I used to go to frequently when I was younger to also demonstrate their differences. Lastly I took pictures of the highway that I see and hear from my bedroom and my church because I'm becoming more involved in it.

I chose newspaper as part of my background because I read it often even thought I mainly read the cartoons. I find it interesting to see how newspapers and TV news tell the same story but in different ways causing their audience to get different views. Also the way that newspapers are considered trash once the day is over.
