All I'm trying to do is to make it to the next day, week, year. Art helps me do that. Lately, I've been taking photos of all the places I've been and seen, everything I want to remember when I grow up. Because, in this city, everything is always changing, and five years from now nothing will look the same. I can look at every piece I've done and have that moment back, the why behind the painting, the friend who drew a response on the back of the drawing. Through my art, I will be able to remember my life, at least the parts worth remembering.
