As an architect my goals are to make a space that is livable, comfortable,
and enjoyable; looking back on the project I myself want to experience these aspects of my own work. When planning a design I look for clean straight lines, but inspiration comes from all over; I love to utilize the nature around me.
The kinks in communities and derelict places inspire me to create a place where people can call home or even a public sanctum. My techniques are to plan everything in my head; even before I put pencil to paper (I’m planning my ideas in my head). Architecture is an art that affects the daily lives of the daily people who roam the streets. Being a part of something that has such a large impact as architecture is a privilege that I am be glad to have.
Students reflect on what they’ve learned, review films, critique
architecture, and interview artists.
