I like to make architecture because it expresses my creativity and it is involved
in science which is my favorite subject. Architecture is also a way to make a place, especially a city, beautiful and modern which will make life easier. Another reason why I like to make architecture is because I like to make my buildings comfortable and full of space and I think the people also like these two factors. A recent major issue around the world is global warming and this motivates me to make Architecture. I have always lived in cities throughout my life and it is sometimes very frustrating. Cities like New York is very crowded, it has too many cars and unwanted buildings. If we can remove them and make that space environmentally healthy by putting more green space like parks and trees, it will make the world a better place and residential area especially, will be a comfortable and peaceful place to live in. This issue has really motivated me to create architecture that will help lower the alert of global warming. I like space and brightness. I think these two factors give a home or office a peaceful and comfortable feeling. To give a building space and brightness, the window has to be in an angle and side so that the sunlight enters the building to create natural light. Another factor that will give space and brightness
to a building is if u use a lot of translucent glass to create the building. Both here in the U.S. and Bangladesh, I have always lived in a city and from that experience I know that cities are always dirty and sometimes frustrating to live in. The suburb areas are more peaceful because of the architecture of the landscape or the amount of green space. It can get very frustrating living in a city because there are so many building and most are really old. The old buildings don't have the newest inventions. These old buildings motivate me to make architecture that will be of its time. Finally, my mom inspired me in the architectural field. When I was young, she took me to a lot of different places in Bangladesh and I noticed its architecture, which really inspired me to make some of my own.
