I have always loved to sketch different body types and human faces, most of the time with just pen and paper. I enjoy adjusting proportions and developing new characters on a page with real emotion that can be read universally. I think this class was definitely important for me because I was able to get more comfortable with different mediums and materials and be part of a group of people who really care about art. Since my school does not have an art program for me, it really gave me a lot and helped me progress as an artist. I am very grateful that I could be a part of this program and hope it continues for many years. I think everyone should have a proper artistic education, because during these weeks I have learned the importance of art in every different aspect and how it affects or is affected by everything in the world that surrounds us.
