Design is life. It is an entity in and of itself, conceived by humans and coexisting with us. We surround design as it surrounds us; we are all living design lives (now). This is the name of one of the showings at the Cooper Hewitt (DESIGN LIFE NOW), which the In The Making design class visited the other week. There were many different types of design including graphic design, fashion design, industrial design, and architecture. The trip was a definite hit and helped me gain new perspectives on design!
