Growing up in New York City definitely defines who I am as a person. Coming from immigrant parents, I learned to be independent at an early age. I was given a lot of freedom and had the city at my fingertips. I turned to friends, which exposed me to different cultures and lifestyles. The fast track of the city made me grow up fast. I want my work to reflect not only who I am, but also where I come from and the people that I come across. I am a free spirit and like to showcase it through my art.
