"Art" means so many different things to different people. An "artist" is much more than a clever monstrosity wielding a smock and a paintbrush. An artist is anyone who can share a piece of themselves
in clever and innovative ways. Artists can transcend borders,
cultures, and language barriers while entertaining, defaming, promoting, or even educating. They can present a new perspective
and share a new mentality never before explored. Herein lies my inspiration. I marvel at the sheer myriad of possibilities within my art. I love to blend my Indian heritage into my American culture and capture moments I can never relive. I present each new piece breathlessly, hoping for approval but secretly fearing rejection. My art is a passion more than just simple exposures on 35 mm film; a passion that I will carry on for years to come. Waking up to the whirl of the camera and the faint hum of projectors make each new project worthwhile. After all, filmmaking is so much more than a simple "action!" or "cut!" or even ornate dialogue. It is an expression
of who you truly are: passion, insight, ambition, and soul.
